The groundbreaking of W Residences Abu Dhabi-Al Maryah Island has begun thanks to Taraf, the real estate arm of Yas Holding, an investment holding company with its headquarters in the United Arab Emirates. With the launch of the first W Hotels-branded homes in Abu Dhabi, Taraf and Marriott International have reached a significant milestone in their partnership.
The groundbreaking marks the beginning of construction on this historic project, which will combine luxurious hospitality with daring and surprising design to produce a landmark addition to Abu Dhabi’s real estate market. The contract between Taraf and NSCC International LTD, the project’s contractor, was signed in December 2024.
