Emaar Receives Dubai-it Award for Its Contribution to the Emirate's Real Estate Development

The recognition celebrates the developer's role in shaping Dubai's urban landscape through major residential destinations, large-scale developments and landmark projects.

Emaar Properties has received the Dubai-it Award for Institutions in the Field of Real Estate, recognising its contribution to Dubai's development and its role in creating some of the emirate's most prominent residential, commercial and lifestyle destinations.

The recognition was announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE. He acknowledged Emaar's approach to large-scale development, highlighting its focus on construction quality, efficient project execution and continuous expansion.

According to Sheikh Hamdan, the developer has demonstrated how ambitious projects can be delivered at speed while maintaining high standards. He also recognised Emaar's ability to create destinations that have gained international attention and strengthened Dubai's global reputation.

Emaar's developments have helped shape Dubai's urban landscape

Over the years, Emaar has played a significant role in transforming Dubai's residential and commercial property landscape. Its development portfolio includes several well-known destinations, such as Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, Dubai Hills Estate, Emaar Beachfront, Emaar South and Arabian Ranches.

These communities have contributed to the emirate's expansion by combining residential properties with retail, hospitality, leisure and other lifestyle facilities.

The company's development activities have also demonstrated its ability to manage projects on a substantial scale. According to the award announcement, Emaar launched 62 projects and delivered more than 12,000 residential units within a year, reflecting the scale of its development operations.

Dubai Fountain renovation highlights project execution capabilities

Emaar's contribution extends beyond residential construction to major attractions and visitor destinations.

One of its notable recent achievements was the extensive renovation of The Dubai Fountain, which was completed within five months. The work was carried out while Dubai Mall and the surrounding Downtown Dubai destination continued operating and receiving visitors.

Dubai Mall also maintained its position as a major international attraction, welcoming 111 million visitors over a single year.

The developer's annual New Year's Eve celebrations have further strengthened Downtown Dubai's international profile. The festivities attracted approximately 2.8 million visitors during the holiday week, including more than 500,000 people on New Year's Eve itself.

Dubai-it Award recognises excellence and achievement

The Dubai-it Award was established to recognise individuals, organisations, projects and institutions that turn ambitious ideas into measurable achievements while reflecting Dubai's approach to innovation, efficiency and high-quality execution.

Its recognition of Emaar highlights the company's contribution to the emirate's built environment and its involvement in delivering major developments that attract residents, businesses and international visitors.

The award also reflects Dubai's wider ambition to strengthen its position as a leading destination for property investment, business activity and global tourism.

With an extensive development portfolio and a continuing presence across some of the emirate's most prominent communities, Emaar remains an important contributor to Dubai's evolving real estate sector.
