Ajman Chamber Targets Stronger Trade and Investment Ties with Belgium

Ajman delegation seeks stronger business, investment and trade links with Belgium

The Ajman Chamber is seeking to expand economic ties with Belgium as part of a UAE trade mission designed to create new opportunities for trade, investment and private-sector partnerships between the two countries.

The two-day mission, held from October 5 to 6, brought together UAE government officials and business representatives in Belgium. It was organised by the Federation of UAE Chambers in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in Brussels.

Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salmeen Al Ariani, a Board Member of the Ajman Chamber, represented the emirate as part of the UAE delegation.

Business meetings focus on new partnership opportunities

As part of the programme, the Ajman Chamber took part in the UAE-Belgium economic event and held direct meetings with members of the Belgian business community.

The discussions focused on identifying areas where companies and business organisations from Ajman and Belgium could work together. Topics included potential partnerships, business exchanges, reciprocal visits and the possibility of organising joint business events and forums.

The meetings were also intended to improve direct communication between businesses on both sides and give Belgian companies greater insight into trade and investment opportunities available in Ajman.

Ajman looks to strengthen its international business presence

Al Ariani said the Chamber's participation reflects Ajman's efforts to broaden its international economic relationships and create additional channels for commercial cooperation.

He highlighted the importance of UAE trade missions in connecting local businesses with international markets while promoting Ajman's investment opportunities to overseas investors and companies.

The delegation also visited several sites during the mission to gain insight into successful economic models and business practices in Belgium.

According to the Ajman Chamber, continued engagement with international business communities can help create opportunities for trade exchange, investment and long-term partnerships.

The latest mission forms part of broader efforts to strengthen connections between Ajman's private sector and international markets, while supporting the emirate's growing role within the UAE's wider investment and business landscape.
