Wynn Al Marjan Island Plans 98-Berth Superyacht Marina in Ras Al Khaimah

New marina will accommodate yachts of up to 85 metres as the landmark Al Marjan Island resort expands its luxury waterfront offering

Wynn Al Marjan Island is adding a major maritime component to its Ras Al Khaimah resort, announcing plans for a 98-berth marina designed to accommodate superyachts and megayachts measuring up to 85 metres.

The marina is set to provide sea-based visitors with direct access to the resort while becoming a key feature of Wynn Al Marjan Island’s waterfront offering.

According to Wynn Al Marjan Island, the facility will offer capacity for a larger number of yachts and bigger vessels than any other hotel-connected marina currently planned or operating in the UAE.

The marina is being integrated into the wider resort rather than developed as a standalone boating facility. Yacht owners and guests will have access to the project's accommodation, dining, entertainment and waterfront leisure experiences.

Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, described the marina as an extension of the resort itself, designed to connect experiences on the water with the destination's wider hospitality offering.

The project is being developed on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah and forms part of the emirate's growing luxury tourism and hospitality landscape.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is being developed by Wynn Resorts in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding. The multibillion-dollar destination is scheduled to open in 2027 and is planned to include hotel accommodation, restaurants, retail, entertainment and leisure facilities.

The development will also feature the UAE's first licensed commercial gaming facility, adding another element to Ras Al Khaimah's strategy to broaden its international tourism proposition.

The new marina further strengthens the resort's focus on high-end visitors by combining luxury hospitality with direct marine access. The ability to accommodate vessels of up to 85 metres could also enhance the destination's appeal among superyacht owners and charter guests.

For Ras Al Khaimah, the project adds to a wider pipeline of tourism and leisure investment aimed at attracting international visitors and expanding the emirate's premium hospitality infrastructure.

As construction progresses towards the resort's planned 2027 opening, the marina is set to become another notable feature of the rapidly developing Al Marjan Island destination.
