Richmind Advances Oystra Waterfront Development on Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island
The developer has completed shoring works at its luxury residential project while opening a new Experience Centre in Dubai’s Jumeirah, offering investors and prospective buyers a closer look at the development.
UAE-based developer Richmind has made significant progress on Oystra, its high-end waterfront project on Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island, with shoring works now completed, paving the way for the next stage of construction.
The announcement coincides with the opening of Richmind’s new Experience Centre in Jumeirah 3, Dubai. Designed by international architecture and design firm Gensler, the centre is intended to introduce prospective buyers, investors and business partners to the project’s design concept, interiors and waterfront lifestyle.
According to the developer, the construction milestone and the launch of the new centre represent two important steps in advancing Oystra and strengthening engagement with potential customers.
Oystra Moves Forward in Construction
Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, Oystra is planned as a luxury residential development that brings distinctive contemporary architecture to the coastline of Al Marjan Island.
The completion of shoring works marks a key stage in preparing the site for subsequent construction activities. This work supports the development process as the project moves from its architectural design towards further physical construction.
Richmind said construction has continued to progress in recent months, with a focus on execution standards, quality and project timelines.
Mohammad Rafiee, chief executive officer of Richmind, described the milestone as an important step in turning the project’s architectural concept into a built development. He highlighted the importance of precision and careful execution throughout the construction process.
Oystra’s design draws inspiration from the sea and sky, with sculptural architectural forms intended to create a distinctive waterfront residential environment. The project is planned around residential living, leisure and wellbeing.
Several specialist firms are contributing to the development. Dewan Architects + Engineers is serving as the lead design consultant, HBA is handling interior design, and Cracknell is responsible for landscape design.
New Dubai Experience Centre Opens to Visitors
Alongside progress at Oystra, Richmind has opened a dedicated Experience Centre at Building 822 in Jumeirah 3, Dubai.
The centre was developed over approximately 18 months in collaboration with Gensler. Its design reflects the developer’s focus on architecture, interior detailing and the overall customer experience.
Rather than functioning solely as a conventional property sales office, the centre has been designed to give visitors a more immersive introduction to Oystra. Prospective buyers and investors can explore the project's architectural identity, material selections, interior finishes and intended waterfront lifestyle.
The facility also provides opportunities for personalised consultations with the Richmind team, allowing visitors to learn more about the development and discuss their interests directly with the company.
Rafiee explained that the centre was designed to showcase the quality standards and meticulous approach Richmind intends to deliver at Oystra, highlighting Gensler’s contribution to creating an engaging experience for visitors.
Al Marjan Island’s Luxury Property Market
Oystra adds to the growing collection of premium residential developments planned for Ras Al Khaimah, where Al Marjan Island has attracted attention from developers and investors interested in waterfront properties.
The emirate's positioning as a destination for luxury living and real estate investment has helped bring greater visibility to projects offering distinctive architecture, coastal settings and lifestyle-oriented amenities.
For Richmind, progress at Oystra represents a construction milestone, while the new Dubai centre provides a dedicated space for potential buyers and investors to understand the project before making decisions.
As construction continues, future progress at the development will be an important factor for prospective purchasers following Oystra’s delivery timeline.
