RAK Properties Expands Mina’s Waterfront Lifestyle Offering with Three New Dining Venues

Ras Al Khaimah development to welcome additional restaurants and cafés in Q4 2026 as the developer strengthens its residential, tourism and leisure appeal

RAK Properties is preparing to introduce three additional restaurants and cafés at Mina during the final quarter of 2026, adding to the dining options available at its waterfront destination in Ras Al Khaimah.

The planned openings form part of the developer's broader efforts to build Mina into a destination that brings together residential living, hospitality, leisure and commercial activity. By expanding its food and beverage offering, the company aims to create a more active environment for residents while giving visitors additional reasons to explore the waterfront community.

Mina's development extends beyond residential property

RAK Properties is positioning Mina as more than a place to live or stay. The development combines residential neighbourhoods with tourism and commercial facilities, reflecting an approach in which everyday amenities and leisure experiences form part of the wider destination.

Restaurants and cafés can contribute to the appeal of such communities by providing places for residents to meet, socialise and spend time outside their homes. They can also help attract visitors who may use other facilities within the destination.

Sameh Muhtadi, chief executive of RAK Properties, said the company's approach focuses on creating a well-integrated community that serves residents and their families while offering visitors a destination worth discovering.

He also highlighted the importance of selecting food and beverage businesses that contribute to the social environment of Mina, rather than simply increasing the number of commercial outlets.

The planned additions reflect this emphasis on combining property development with amenities that support a broader lifestyle experience.

Hospitality remains an important part of the destination

Mina already has an established hospitality presence, including the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Resort and Spa on Hayat Island, which has 351 rooms.

The resort provides an existing accommodation and dining component within the waterfront destination. The arrival of three more restaurants and cafés is expected to broaden the area's food and beverage choices, although RAK Properties has not identified the new venues in the information available.

The expansion also reflects the relationship between hospitality and mixed-use property developments. Dining facilities, hotels and leisure amenities can help make a location more attractive to people considering a home, a holiday or a longer-term investment.

However, the commercial success of these additions will depend on factors such as visitor demand, the quality of the offerings and the wider development of the surrounding area.

Ras Al Khaimah's lifestyle destinations continue to evolve

Mina's latest planned additions come as RAK Properties continues to develop a waterfront destination designed to serve residential and tourism-related needs.

For Ras Al Khaimah, developments that combine accommodation, housing, dining and leisure can contribute to a more varied visitor experience while supporting activity around established and emerging communities.

For property buyers and investors, the expansion of amenities provides another factor to consider when evaluating a development. Access to restaurants, hospitality facilities and social spaces can influence the overall living experience, although these features alone do not guarantee property price growth or investment returns.

With three new dining venues planned for the final quarter of 2026, RAK Properties is continuing to build out Mina's lifestyle offering. The additions are intended to complement the destination's existing hospitality facilities and support its role as a waterfront community for residents and visitors in Ras Al Khaimah.
