Ras Al Khaimah Records AED 771.5 Million in New Investment as Business Summit Approaches

RAKIS 2026 will bring investors and industry representatives together to discuss opportunities across property, tourism, technology and infrastructure

Ras Al Khaimah is preparing to host an international investment and business summit as the emirate continues to attract companies and investors from different parts of the world.

The third edition of the Ras Al Khaimah Investment and Business Summit (RAKIS 2026) is scheduled for November 11 and 12 at the RAK Exhibition Center. The event will bring together government representatives, investors, financial institutions, property developers and business leaders to discuss opportunities across the emirate's expanding economy.

The summit comes after Ras Al Khaimah recorded more than AED 771.5 million in new capital investment during the first half of 2026. During the same period, the emirate registered 967 new business establishments and attracted 1,399 investors representing 68 nationalities.

These figures reflect continued interest in Ras Al Khaimah as a destination for business expansion and investment.

Property and infrastructure among key investment areas

Real estate development and infrastructure are expected to feature prominently during the summit, reflecting their importance to Ras Al Khaimah's economic growth.

Discussions will cover residential communities, waterfront developments, hospitality projects, commercial properties and technology-driven real estate services.

Construction and infrastructure will also form part of the programme, with topics including urban planning, engineering, building technologies and project development.

The emirate's expanding tourism sector is another important area of focus, particularly as investment in hotels, leisure destinations and visitor facilities continues to shape its development landscape.

Technology and sustainable development gain attention

Beyond property and tourism, RAKIS 2026 will address opportunities in technology, industrial development and sustainable energy.

Artificial intelligence, financial technology, cybersecurity and digital transformation are among the subjects expected to feature in discussions.

The sustainability agenda will include renewable energy, energy storage, environmentally responsible buildings and more efficient resource management.

Logistics, warehousing, supply-chain development and industrial services will also be covered, highlighting the emirate's efforts to broaden its economic activities.

Major UAE companies and organisations expected to participate

The summit's conference and exhibition will involve organisations from different parts of the UAE's business community.

Participating names listed in the announcement include Marjan, RAK Properties, BNW Developments, DAMAC Properties, Arada, Etihad Water and Electricity and RAKBANK.

Other organisations include Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, Gulf Cement Company, Khatib & Alami, Knight Frank MENA and Cushman & Wakefield.

Their involvement spans property development, banking, utilities, construction, transport, engineering and tourism.

Government representatives and industry executives will also participate in discussions covering investment policy, international trade, market opportunities and the emirate's development priorities.

International business links form part of the agenda

The event is also expected to encourage stronger connections between UAE businesses and international markets.

Business organisations and trade groups associated with the summit include the British Chamber of Commerce Dubai, U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, AmCham Dubai and Canada-UAE Business Council.

These networks can help businesses explore cross-border partnerships, identify potential investors and establish commercial relationships with organisations operating in different markets.

For companies considering entry into Ras Al Khaimah, the summit provides an opportunity to understand the local business environment and connect with relevant industry participants.

Ras Al Khaimah continues to broaden its investment base

The emirate has been developing its economic activities across real estate, tourism, manufacturing, logistics and technology. This wider investment strategy is creating opportunities for businesses operating in both established and emerging sectors.

The latest first-half investment figures provide an indication of the level of business activity recorded in 2026. However, the AED 771.5 million represents investment across the wider economy rather than property transactions alone.

With RAKIS 2026 approaching, attention will turn to the investment opportunities and partnerships that could support the emirate's next stage of economic development.

The summit is expected to provide a meeting point for businesses and investors exploring opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah and the wider UAE.
