Ajman Crown Prince Reviews Major Development Plans for Al Zorah
Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi reviews planned waterfront, residential and supporting infrastructure projects as Al Zorah expands its role as a coastal destination in Ajman
Al Zorah in Ajman is preparing for another phase of development after His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, reviewed a range of proposed real estate, infrastructure and supporting projects for the area.
During the review, Sheikh Ammar received an overview from Al Zorah Development Company of projects planned for the area, including a new mixed-use waterfront destination. The planned development will bring together residential, commercial, leisure and tourism components as part of the area’s wider development programme.
The projects are being planned in line with the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030, with a focus on creating an integrated environment for residents, investors and visitors.
The briefing also covered the planned residential options, lifestyle facilities and supporting services associated with the future developments. According to the information presented, the projects are intended to enhance Al Zorah’s appeal while maintaining its coastal character and protecting its environmental assets.
The review was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department; Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Municipality & Planning Department; Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Member of the Ajman Executive Council; and Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Digital Department.
AED 2.7 billion waterfront development
Al Zorah has already seen the announcement of a significant new mixed-use waterfront project this year.
In January 2026, Al Zorah Real Estate Development Company and Samana Real Estate Development Company signed a land acquisition agreement for an AED 2.7 billion waterfront development in Al Zorah City. The project is planned to include more than 2,000 residential units together with commercial components.
The development is planned at Al Zorah Marina 1 on a waterfront site covering approximately 576,908 square feet. The announced project mix includes apartments, branded residential units with hotel services, townhouses, villas and commercial space.
The project forms part of the broader expansion of Al Zorah, adding to the range of residential and mixed-use developments planned within the coastal community.
Al Zorah’s coastal development
Al Zorah combines residential, leisure, sports and tourism facilities with a natural environment that includes a nature reserve. Its future development programme is therefore being presented around a balance between new urban facilities and the area's existing coastal and environmental character.
The latest review highlights the continued focus on developing Al Zorah as an integrated destination within Ajman, with future projects covering housing, commercial activity, leisure, tourism and supporting infrastructure.
For Ajman’s property sector, the planned developments represent another phase in the expansion of one of the emirate’s established coastal destinations.
