Alef Group Joins Sharjah Investment Forum 2026 to Strengthen Investor Connections

Alef Group has been named the exclusive sponsor and partner of the Investors’ Lounge at Sharjah Investment Forum 2026, as Sharjah continues to expand its focus on investment, real estate and private-sector participation.

Alef Group will take part in the ninth edition of the Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF), where the Investors’ Lounge will provide a dedicated setting for investors, business leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers to discuss potential projects, partnerships, financing and expansion opportunities.

SIF 2026 is scheduled to take place on October 14 and 15 at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre in Sharjah. The forum is being organised by Invest in Sharjah in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Investment under the theme “Building Adaptive Economies.” The organisers expect more than 10,000 participants, with more than 80 speakers and over 140 activities planned for the event.

Alef Group to support Investors’ Lounge

The partnership places Alef Group in a central role within the Investors’ Lounge, which is designed to facilitate direct discussions between investors, companies and government representatives.

The lounge will focus on areas including investment projects, financing, partnerships and business expansion. Its objective is to create more opportunities for investors and businesses to connect and explore potential projects in Sharjah.

Alef Group CEO Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi said the company's approach to development is centred on creating integrated communities that combine residential, commercial and social spaces. He also highlighted the role of real estate developments in supporting wider investment activity and business growth.

The partnership follows Alef Group's growing development activity in Sharjah. The developer describes itself as a UAE real estate company focused on residential communities, destinations and mixed-use development.

SIF builds on previous investor engagement

The 2026 forum follows the previous edition of SIF, which generated significant business-to-business engagement.

According to information released ahead of SIF 2026, the 2025 edition recorded more than 211 B2B meetings, during which potential investment opportunities valued at approximately US$924.5 million were discussed. The 2026 Investors’ Lounge is intended to provide another platform for similar investor and business discussions.

The forum's programme is expected to cover investment and industrial development, technology, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, talent and international connectivity.

Sharjah investment activity reaches AED7.74 billion

The partnership comes as Sharjah continues to attract foreign investment across a range of sectors.

According to data reported by the Emirates News Agency, Sharjah attracted AED7.74 billion in capital investment through 142 foreign direct investment projects in 2025. Those projects generated 5,673 jobs, while approximately 75% were reported to be operational.

Invest in Sharjah has also identified markets including India, Italy, the UK and the US among important sources of investment, while sectors highlighted for investment opportunities include technology and artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, clean energy, logistics, infrastructure, food and manufacturing.

Sharjah property market maintains momentum

Real estate remains an important part of Sharjah's investment landscape.

The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department reported that the emirate's real estate transactions reached AED65.6 billion in 2025, representing a 64.3% increase compared with 2024. The market recorded 33,580 sales transactions during the year, while investors from 129 nationalities participated in the market.

Market activity continued during the first half of 2026. Real estate transaction value reached approximately AED29.5 billion, an increase of 9.3% compared with the same period in 2025. The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department recorded 59,460 transactions during the six-month period, up 23.7% year on year.

The market also attracted investors from 121 nationalities during the first half of 2026, according to Sharjah real estate data.

Private-sector role in Sharjah investment

The Alef Group partnership gives the Investors’ Lounge a direct private-sector connection within SIF 2026, while the forum itself brings together government representatives, investors and businesses.

For Sharjah, the event comes at a time when both foreign investment and real estate activity are generating significant levels of economic activity. The combination of investor engagement, private-sector participation and development opportunities is expected to remain a focus of discussions during the two-day forum.

With SIF 2026 taking place in October, the Investors’ Lounge will provide a platform for participants to explore potential investment relationships and business opportunities across Sharjah and the wider UAE.
