Dubai Startup BrokerageFinder Targets 20% Share of Real Estate Recruitment Market by 2027
New platform aims to transform how property companies hire agents, with AI-powered recruitment tools and brokerage comparison features planned for expansion
Dubai's real estate recruitment sector could see a new wave of digital transformation following the introduction of BrokerageFinder, a specialised platform designed to connect property professionals with brokerage companies across the emirate.
The company has set an ambitious goal of securing 20% of Dubai's real estate recruitment market by the end of 2027. Its business model focuses on making recruitment more transparent while helping agents identify employers that match their professional expectations and career objectives.
Co-founded by Matthew Whitmore and Jay Grant, the platform brings together features commonly associated with professional networking websites, employment portals and company review services. Unlike general recruitment platforms, BrokerageFinder concentrates exclusively on the property industry.
Since its initial soft launch approximately four and a half months ago, the company reports that the website has attracted around 17,400 monthly visits and more than 10,000 individual users.
Recruitment activity has also increased. According to company figures, candidate applications have grown from just three during the platform's first month to an average of 5.8 applications daily over the latest 30-day period. The founders also report that website activity, revenue and successful placements have nearly doubled month after month on average since launch.
Making real estate recruitment more transparent
BrokerageFinder was developed in response to recruitment difficulties identified through discussions with more than 200 brokerage owners, according to its founders.
Traditional recruitment channels often provide limited insight into the differences between individual real estate companies. For agents considering a career move, factors such as commission arrangements, lead availability, marketing support and workplace culture can significantly influence their decisions.
The platform seeks to address these concerns by giving property professionals access to information that helps them evaluate potential employers before applying.
Agents can compare brokerages using criteria that include commission structures, exposure on property portals, training programmes, office locations, company culture and the level of professional support available.
For employers, the platform provides a dedicated management system through which recruitment teams can review applications, maintain candidate databases, arrange interviews and manage job offers.
This approach is intended to make hiring more structured while helping companies identify candidates whose expectations and professional goals align with their working environment.
Expanding its presence among Dubai brokerages
Initially, BrokerageFinder concentrated on smaller and medium-sized property agencies, particularly companies employing approximately 10 to 70 agents.
The business is now looking to expand its reach by engaging with some of Dubai's larger real estate organisations. This could broaden its position within an industry where brokerages regularly compete to attract experienced agents and develop their sales teams.
The founders believe that providing greater visibility into employment conditions can help both companies and candidates make more informed recruitment decisions.
Artificial intelligence to shape the next development phase
Technology is expected to play a major role in BrokerageFinder's upcoming expansion.
The company is developing an artificial intelligence-based matching system that will assess more than an applicant's previous employment and professional experience. The proposed technology will also consider individual career ambitions, personality characteristics and preferred workplace environments when suggesting suitable brokerages.
An initial AI beta release is targeted for December 2026, with a more advanced matching system expected during the first quarter of 2027.
Another planned development, known as Social Finder, is intended to introduce networking capabilities and build a broader professional community for people working in Dubai's property sector.
Founders bring established property industry experience
The venture combines the professional backgrounds of its two co-founders.
Matthew Whitmore has experience in mergers and acquisitions and previously held a chief executive position at a Dubai real estate brokerage.
Jay Grant is known for establishing Property Monitor and real estate advisory firm Cavendish Maxwell, bringing additional experience in property market intelligence and industry operations.
Looking ahead, BrokerageFinder aims to establish itself as a major destination for local and international real estate professionals exploring employment opportunities in Dubai.
While its immediate focus remains the emirate's property sector, the company is also considering whether its specialised recruitment model could eventually be adapted for other industries.
Its longer-term growth will depend on attracting more brokerages, increasing candidate participation and delivering the technology improvements outlined in its expansion plans.
