Majid Al Futtaim Teams Up with Sunset Hospitality to Develop Wellness Destination at Ghaf Woods
The Dubai residential community will add a dedicated wellness and lifestyle destination featuring fitness, spa, recovery, nutrition and hospitality experiences.
Majid Al Futtaim has entered into a strategic partnership with Sunset Hospitality Group to operate Maravelle, a planned wellness and lifestyle destination within Ghaf Woods, its nature-focused residential development in Dubai.
The collaboration brings together Majid Al Futtaim's experience in developing residential and mixed-use destinations with Sunset Hospitality Group's expertise in hospitality, fitness, wellness and lifestyle operations.
Maravelle is intended to provide residents, members and visitors with a dedicated space for health, relaxation and social activities. Its planned offering will include fitness facilities, spa treatments, recovery services, nutrition options and food and beverage experiences.
Wellness Facilities to Complement Ghaf Woods Living
Maravelle will be situated at the centre of Ghaf Woods, a development designed around a forest-inspired environment featuring more than 35,000 trees and interconnected nature trails.
The facility is designed to blend wellness amenities with Ghaf Woods' natural surroundings, creating an environment for fitness, relaxation and social engagement.
The project forms part of Majid Al Futtaim's wider development strategy for Ghaf Woods, which brings together residential properties, retail, hospitality and leisure facilities. Other elements of the masterplan include Ghaf Woods Mall.
By adding a dedicated wellness destination, the developer is expanding the range of amenities planned for the community beyond conventional residential facilities.
Sunset Hospitality Group to Manage Maravelle
Under the partnership, Majid Al Futtaim will continue to lead the overall development and vision for Ghaf Woods, while Sunset Hospitality Group will be responsible for operating Maravelle.
Sunset Hospitality Group has a portfolio of more than 100 destinations worldwide, according to the announcement. Its experience across hospitality and lifestyle businesses will support the delivery and management of the new wellness concept.
Ahmed Elshamy, Chief Executive Officer of Development at Majid Al Futtaim, said the partnership reflects the company's ambition to make wellness an integral part of everyday community living.
He explained that Maravelle would strengthen Ghaf Woods' overall offering by bringing specialised wellness and lifestyle services into the development.

Membership Model to Extend Beyond Residents
Maravelle is expected to serve both Ghaf Woods residents and a selected external membership community. This approach could extend access to its facilities beyond people living within the development.
Its planned programme combines fitness, recovery, spa services, nutrition and hospitality in a single destination, alongside spaces intended to encourage social interaction.
